DUCK-RABBIT CRAFT BREWERY
Farmville, NC

Tarheel Building Systems of New Bern, Inc. was awarded two contracts for expansion of the Duck-Rabbit Craft Brewery, located in Farmville, NC. The Duck-Rabbit is a small packaging microbrewery, specializing in dark beers. The expansion will include a tasting room for wholesalers and the public, new ADA compliant restrooms, and a testing laboratory for development of future Duck-Rabbit products. The bar will feature reclaimed heart pine and copper. The exterior of the building will be sheathed with copper wall panels and an architectural loc-seam roof.

The Farmville Economic Development Council selected Tarheel’s design-build proposal based on the submitted design and total cost. The project is funded by a Community Development Block Grant that benefits the community by adding several new employment positions and improves the visual appearance of the Farmville Industrial Park.

Cardiac Thoracic & Vascular Associates, PLLC
New Bern, NC

The doctors of Cardiac Thoracic & Vascular Associates, PLLC selected Tarheel Building Systems to design and construct their new facility on Newman Road. The facility features a radius entrance canopy that is visible within the office suites. The custom trim and wood work display the high level scrutiny that has been placed on the project. The specialty exam rooms feature the modern medical advancements and are finished to put the future patients at ease.

Craven County Farm Bureau
James City, NC

Tarheel was selected to design and construct the Craven County Farm Bureau office. The new facility is designed to accommodate the daily business transactions for Farm Bureau clients. The facility features conventional framing and brick veneer exterior.

Realo Discount Drugs and Carolina Home Medical
New Bern, NC

The new home for Realo Discount Drugs and Carolina Home Medical is underway. The new 14,400 square foot facility will be constructed using a pre-engineered superstructure with a custom fabricated façade. The project will feature brick veneer and EIFS exterior.
